Unfortunately, the original colour videotape recordings of Timeslip no longer exist, except in the case of the final episode of The Time of the Ice Box. Luckily the other twenty-five episodes still exist in the form of 16mm black and white telerecordings.
All four Timeslip stories have been released on Region 2 DVD in the UK (Amazon.co.uk / HMV.com). The Region 1 DVD from the United States also includes a short documentary about the series (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com).

- Unless anyone knows otherwise, the Timeslip novelisation is the only children's sci-fi TV novelisation from the UK to have been published in Japan. The country did, however, get translations based on novelisations of a number of other UK sci-fi TV series including: A for Andromeda/The Andromeda Breakthrough, Doctor Who, Neverwhere, Red Dwarf, Space: 1999 and UFO.
General Notes
- Timeslip was a children's time travel drama in which two children (Simon Randall and Liz Skinner) fall through a time barrier and find themselves back in the 1940s. Later stories saw them travelling forwards in time to various alternate futures.
The series ran on ITV between 1970 and 1971, and consisted of twenty-six episodes which comprised four individual stories. The Year of the Burn Up (8 episodes) and The Day of the Clone (6 episodes) were never novelised.
