General Notes
- Earthbound is exclusively available to members of Fanderson, the Gerry Anderson fan club.
- Earthbound was the only Season One episode of the series not to be novelised in English during the 1970s, although it was included as part of the Italian Spazio 1999: I Naufraghi Dello Spazio novelisation in 1975.
The two other novelised episodes in this volume were written before the decision was taken to revamp Space: 1999 for its second season. As a consequence, there are differences not only in the characters present but also in the locations.
The revised version of The Exiles was novelised in The Space Jackers, while The Immunity Syndrome was novelised in The Edge of the Infinite — the only English language novelisation not to be published in the UK.
