General Notes
- Grant Naylor is a pen-name of Rob Grant and Doug Naylor.
- Primordial Soup was the first of two Red Dwarf script books to be released by Penguin, and was released in March 1993, some six months before Psirens was finally transmitted on television.
- Polymorph and Marooned were both novelised in Better Than Life. Psirens was novelised in Last Human, and Dimension Jump was novelised in Backwards.
