Archive Details / DVD Releases
The BBC archives currently only hold The Face of the Tiger, part of The Last Mystery, a number of film inserts and an off-air audio recording of The Last Mystery which was returned to the BBC late in 2006 — sadly too late to be included as part of the Andromeda Anthology collection.
All existing footage has been released on Region 2 DVD in the UK, alongside The Andromeda Breakthrough, as The Andromeda Anthology (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com / HMV.com).
A for Andromeda was remade for television in the UK in 2006 for BBC Four as a ninety-minute production and this has also been released on Region 2 DVD in the UK (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com / HMV.com).

General Notes
- Unlike the majority of tv tie-in novelisations, A for Andromeda was sold as an ordinary science fiction novel outside of the UK.
- In 1972 an Italian production of A for Andromeda was aired on the RAI television network.
Starring Luigi Vannuchi (Dr John Fleming), Paola Pitagora (Judy Adamson) and Nicoletta Rizzi (Christine / Andromeda), the series was a five-part serial and has been released in its country of origin as a 320 minute, three-tape set of videos. The serial was finally released on DVD in Italy in January 2007, but unfortunately doesn't include English subtitles.
