Pingshi Railway
aka Nanling Railway starting from Ping Nan near Pingshi.  Note that Pingshi is pronounced Pingshr or Pingshir.  Super Gricer tried chatting up the receptionist at the railway hotel in Chenzhou 70 km away to find out how to get to Pingshi the first stop from Chenzhou on express trains...and failed.  Now, had he said Pingshr, who knows what would have happened!

Mine near Hulukou has c.5km 762mm oh electric line and 600mm oh electric line from inside mine to the tippler. This line featured a gap in the oh wires to allow a road to cross, points operated on the fly from the loco cab, fly shunting and a manual rotary tippler operated by two men. The 762mm line featured street running in parts from a tunnel loader, side tipping trucks and a modern loco. The older loco was locked in a shed near the sg loading point. This loco is probably still useable. The sg connection is probably served every day or two. There are clearly more major mines further up the sg line.
