"Progzilla"
After their brilliant performance at "Festival 2005". Excellent musicianship is the foundation that their band is built on, and their music defies "pigeon holing" . Whatever your tastes in music, Progzilla will have you rooted to the spot.

"Phoenix Williams"
I've just discovered the amazing music of Phoenix Williams. Wish I'd heard of her while we were running the Boultham Park Festivals, she'd have definitely been on the bill. As soon as we get up & running with the live festivals again, I promise you she'll be invited. Meanwhile, have a listen for yourselves on her "My Space" site...

This band, "The Evening Shadows"
are amazing. I heard them on Stage 2 at this years Americana & honestly
thought it was a disc of the Shadows playing between band changes. It wasn't, it
was these lads & not a real fan of "tribute bands", simply because
they are usually 80% imitations. These lads are 99.9%.
Turan on bass. Nick ffrench on rhythm. Peter Precious drums. Jerry Richards as Cliff. Chas de Lacy lead.
Judge for yourself on their My Space site... click & listen to the music.
If you're a venue & want to pull the crowds in, you can book them through us or direct via their site. (just tell them "Phoenix" sent you).

Rachel Kenedy.
is a name to watch out for. She is just
starting her career as a writer / singer / multi instrumentalist &
talented artist. Have just met her when "crewing" for Film
Director Jed Hart shooting a promo film for her new recording at The
Broadbent Theatre at Wickenby in Lincolnshire.
Click on http://www.myspace.com/rachelkenedy to hear some of her "home recordings" & see her artwork to get some idea of her potential. Hopefully her first Album will not be too far in the future, but she is already gigging around the London area. Anyone interested in her performing in the Lincolnshire area ?
We are at "Phoenix" when we get back to our live shows. In the meantime...WATCH THIS SPACE to see her new video as soon as Jed gets it edited. Pic taken at the Broadbent Theatre shoot. J.P.

Twist of Fate.

Guitar - James Swift
Bass Guitar / Vocals - Adrian Harby
Drums - James Mcgregor
a little bit about us - We are A Twist Of Fate. We are a 4 piece Lincoln Based
band and we play Alternative Rock / Metal with grunge influences. In various
shapes and forms we have been together since 2002. We play mostly original songs
but also have a good range of covers by bands such as Guns N Roses, Incubus,
Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Lost Prophets, Foo Fighters and Metallica. Our
original Material has a very unique sound due to our range of influences. We're
a band born from the idea of sounding different and not being bound by the
same 'rules' as other generic 'chuggy' metal bands.

The Karl Svarc Band.
Karl, Shaun, Heather & Mike bring their "Audible Faith" blend of Blues & World music to many local audiences. As a Fizz Gig review stated..."like flowing waters, melodic music that runs deep, with natural themes at it's heart, a melding of east & west".
Of Czech descent, Karl was born into a musical & poetic background. He first picked up a guitar at the age of 10, & was influenced by Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Ravi Shankar which has remained with him through life. The writings of Jalaludin Rumi, & Kahil Gibran sowed the seeds of his "foundation faith" which is very prevalent in both his work & philosophies. A singer / songwriter / performer & guitar teacher, he lives in Lincoln with Carolyn his wife, he writes, sings & plays in an intimate and personal style his honed skills on acoustic guitar and lyrics read like poetry, sometimes intense & stark. Influenced by American Blues & World Music, he has produced some truely beautiful music with spiritual & natural themes at heart. The current lineup of THE KARL SVARC BAND are Sean South, guitarist, sitarist & arranger & long time friend & musical companion who also works in the band Progzilla. Heather Dowthwaite, percussion, who plays an unusual array of tuned & un-tuned percussion instruments. This trio is often augmented by Mike Wright on fretless & double bass. They have played at a number of festivals over the years.
For sale are 2 studio albums, Running Water & Strong Foundation, plus a live album from the Greenbelt Festival, Open Road. Karl also runs song writing workshops.

The Starrlings.

Watch this Space !!! This young band are going places with their original Rock & Blues. Amongst a very busy schedule all around the U.K. they played on stage 3 at this years Americana- International, and as a direct result of that gig. Became the very first unsigned band sponsored by Burns Guitars, being presented with 3 new instruments. It's stage number 2 (the rock stage) for them next year, & a number of major promoters chasing them with pens in their hands. As I said at the beginning...Watch this space.

"Yorkshire Teabags".
Skiffle from the wilds of Sheffield, with both antique instruments & musicians. bring back the sounds of the good old days when tea cost thre-pence a cup & chimney's still smoked. Serious good fun this band, with a repertoire extending way past the three chords they play.

"Scotch Chocolate"

We booked them for our 2002 Queen's Golden Jubilee Festival as part of our 20 band 2 day celebration, and they were the most "commented on" act over the whole audience age range. Founded by Nick the singer, this 5 piece tribute to another "Chocolate" band, their chocolate blend is of different musical backgrounds. The merciless bending of the notes on the Highland Battle Pipes & vigorous performances by the other four members (all front men, no backliners), produces pure raw vibrant & raucous energy. A touch more than slightly mad, this band are Pure Entertainment.
