RECENT AND CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS
Becta (British Educational Communications & Technology Agency) - Project Managing a commission to investigate the potential for new technologies to engage socially excluded groups and individuals in learning. This project is intended to inform the next phase of the Becta's "Harnessing Technology" strategy. This assigment is conducted as an Associate of Sero Consulting Ltd.
Digital 2010 - co-ordinating the work of the Education & Training Providers' Group of the regional Digital Skills Strategy. Also, project managing a contract to capacity build the region's providers to deliver Adobe Certified Associate training. This assigment is conducted as an Associate of Sero Consulting Ltd.
Nottingham City Council - Producing a Business Plan and Community Engagement Plan (two separate contracts) for the Meadows Alive! project at the Meadow's Library, Nottingham to meet the criteria of funding from the Community Libraries Programme of the BIG Lottery Fund.
Bradford College - Commission to investigate the feasibiliy of establishing an "Enterprise Academy", an innovative vocational education facility for 14-19 year-olds, developed in partnership with Bradford Bulls Rugby League Club.
Becta (British Educational Communications & Technology Agency) - Working on a project to establish the level of "e-Maturity" of organisations delivering Personal & Community Development Learning (Adult & Community Learning). This assigment was conducted as an Associate of Sero Consulting Ltd.
Tamworth and Lichfield College - writing a number of bids for the European Social Fund.
Grange Moor Community Centre - Conducting a Community Consultation excercise to scope the potential services which could be offered in a new Community Centre in Grange Moor, a village between Huddersfield and Wakefield.
Becta (British Educational Communications & Technology Agency) - Working on a project to scope the feasibility of establishing an online learning resource for Looked After Children to close the learning achievement gap. This assigment was conducted as an Associate of Sero Consulting Ltd.
Young Foundation - engaging local authorities in supporting a pilot programme of new Studio Schools in a number of areas in England.
KnowledgeBase UK - Developing a ground-breaking initiative to meet the education and training needs of excluded and disengaged young people in the North of England.
