CAMBRIDGE BRANCH

THE HEALTH AND WELFARE TEAM

The Cambridge Branch of the N.H.S. Retirement Fellowship has a small but active team of members who are able to give help and advice to members on Health and Welfare matters.

At the monthly meetings informative leaflets and booklets are available covering a wide range of illnesses and ailments of particular interest to Branch members, such as Osteoporosis, Alzheimers disease, deafness, general fitness and influenza vaccinations. (click on photo to see fullsize).

Should you require financial help, or know of a member who is ill, admitted to hospital, or requiring financial help, please contact a member of the team.(the telephone numbers are on the Programme/Diary Card). The Health and Welfare team is anxious to continue the good work by visiting the sick and bereaved members at home and in hospital and generally being able to give advice and support.

Please be aware that help may be available for any members facing financial difficulties from the National Benevolent Fund. Initial advice can be obtained from the branch secretary or any member of the Health and Welfare Team.

The work of the Team is always carried out with the greatest of confidentiality.
