SCRABBLE

Members meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Memorial Hall, Great Shelford to play Scrabble. Games commence at 2.00 pm and finish at 4.0 pm. This is a very friendly get-together and tea and cakes make it a pleasant afternoon. The cost is only £1.00.per session. If you wish to take part just use the email facility to let the Webmaster know!

 

BOWLS

The Cambridge Branch of the Fellowship now has a small Bowls section.  We have met five times so far this summer and have been very lucky with the weather.  Thirteen different members have played, ranging from people who have never played before to regular club bowlers.  This mix has worked well with everybody having an enjoyable session.  The section meets at the Coleridge Bowling Club which is situated in Coleridge recreation ground at the junction of Coleridge Road and Davy Road.  Dates for August will be announced soon.  Anybody will be welcome from beginners to experts.  Bowls can be provided but flat shoes (trainers) must be worn on the green.
