The company specialises in Refurbishment work and accounts for approimately 70% of the annual turnover. We cover all disciplines in this field, but around 60% of all refurb work is built up felt roofing.
The majority of the Felt roofing we carry out is to Industrial buildings, Public Buildings and Schools. Industrial building cause very few complications and with basic safety procedures in place are usually very straight forward. Usually access is excellent and keeping the public & staff a safe distance is a simple task.
We have carried out some major refurbishment work on shopping areas etc were the public safety is a major concern, without incident and on schedule.

This is Brus Corner Shops in Hartlepool, which consists of 27 small busy shops. This block was part of Hartlepool Borough Councils Urban Renewal Programme & all shops were in full use during the works. We had an 8 week contract period which included, Strip & recover, new 40mtr Lead box gutter & new 170mm pvc guttering.

Public Schools are an altogether different proposition. Usually all works are completed during school holidays, but as we proved last year, this is unnecessary with the correct safety procedures in place. We carried out a 1000 sq mtr refurbishment to Brierton School during term time without incident. The works consisted of some strip & recover & some over roof systems. 400 sq mtrs was renewed in Plastisol Coated Steel sheeting which gave the building a more modern look, as a pose to the 1960s drab pitched felt.
