Steven Burke, winner of a Bronze Medal in the 2008 Olympic Games, returns home to Colne in Lancashire on Monday 25th August 2008.

A host of fellow cyclists, of all varieties, gathered out side the railway station where Steven was sat in an open topped car to be driven up in to the town centre . The cyclists followed the car with it's police motorcycle escort up Albert Road, past the Parish Church to do a loop around the town's shopping centre. Arriving back at the Town Hall, Steven was presented to the gathered crowd of well wishers by the Mayor.
