
The Trapezium stars in M42, 6th Jan 2009, Fleet,Hants,England, C11 at f10 on G11 mount, ST10XME. Altitude 33 deg.
Stack of 18 unguided subexposures each 1 second through red filter, average FWHM 2.1". Slight unsharp masking applied.
Five stars, A, B, C, D & E, are clearly visible. The sixth star, F, is just about discernible at 8 o'clock from the brightest (C) star.
The G star is also just faintly visible.
