Interior after fire Oct 2001

The fitting of the new Vetus M3 engine and devastation to the interior has allowed us to modify the stern to a semi trad layout and has allowed the moving of the engine bulkhead backwards about 2' giving us extra cabin space.

The painting and metalwork is now complete.

The journey home will take place over the May Bank Holiday 2001 This took place in rather Spartan conditions as no fit out had been done to interior

Pictures of the interior and external paintwork should appear here soon afterwards.

In this view you can see the double chine hull and the cooling pipes for the old Perkins, which run down the keel

The floor is down and the start of noggining the hull side. The depth of the hull strengthening members and narrow gunwale mean that there is no step in below gunwale level. The no nails proved to fix extremely well to the paint but unfortunately the paint is not so well attached and screws will need to be used
