The Wargamer has published a review of the Matrix Games re-release compilation of Talonsoft’s American Civil War Battleground games. Thus, if a player is looking for a ground-breaking audio-visual experience, look elsewhere. However, if a player is looking for an educational experience on scene at some the Civil War’s greatest battles, try Battleground: Civil War. It will not disappoint.” You can read his review here.

Computer Games: Napoleon’s Campaigns Review
The Wargamer has published a review of AGEOD’s Napoleonic title Napoleon’s Campaigns. The reviewer (Jim Cobb) summed up his thoughts as follows: “Napoleon’s Campaigns is that jewel of a game that has a well-defined purpose in mind and executes it in a disciplined but accessible fashion. Some gamers may bemoan the lack of a tactical and strategic level. They miss the point. Bonaparte excelled at the operational level and this game captures the essence and nuances of that level of warfare.” You can read his review here.
