Osprey Publishing are giving people the chance to win three titles about the fighting in the Western Desert during WW2:  Desert Rats: British 8th Army in North Africa 1941-43 (Battle orders 28), Rommel’s Afrika Korps: Tobruk to El Alamein (Battle Orders 20) and El Alamein 1942: The Turning of the Tide (Campaign 158).

The Grognard Challenge

With each new update the Web-Grognards’ website runs a competition known as the ‘Grognard Challenge’ - which is to identify the board game shown on the sites front page from its map and unit counters (there are two map sections and two sets of counters). There are no prizes, but the first person to email the correct answer wins fame and has their name added to the Grognard Challenge Winners page.  Click here to enter.
