My name is John Denny and I have now been researching my own DENNY line since 1996.
There are several researched DENNY lines already, mine is from Jeremiah Denny
who came from Cork to Southwark prior to 1853, when he married Catherine Berry.

It is believed that all the lines descend originally from the Denny family of Combs in Suffolk, England,
where the family has been traced to John Denny and the earliest record of him being dated 1450.

There are also Denny families originating from the town of Denny in Scotland,
I do not know of a Combs connection to these.

On this site I hope to bring together fellow Denny researchers
and combined we might help each other trace our own particular branches still further.
