This site is now hosted with LCN.

I took them up on their offer of the free software WebPlusX2 from Serif. Of course, the downside of this is that you have to phone them up to register and they always then manage to sell you something else! 

I’m still learning to ‘drive’ this software but - on the whole - and we’ll see how it works with Chrome and the rest of them - not bad.

 

 

As of 7th September 2008 this site is now compatible with GOOGLE's browser CHROME - it is also tested with IE8

 

Both of these browsers will prove to be popular - the former because it comes from Google - is free and is very fast. The latter because it will download and install across the board any time within the next 6 months.

 

Anyone up-grading to Windows 7 from October 22nd 2009 will have to choose a browser since the EU regs make it clear to MS that they should not adopt a default position of installing IE by default. Very PC I daresay but all that the EU has achieved is to make life a bit more complicated in the name of business competition.
