Last payment £6 on 6 Jan 1783. Following his death Thomas Howe received the same amount regularly until 5 June 1808 when he received £3 for half-year to Christmas next. On 28 Oct 1808 £1 was paid to Thomas Howe "in need" and thereafter £1 regularly (per month?). Mr James Laws succeeded Thomas Howe as teacher of the poor boys. See extracts at IV 1-2. |
