The Family History of Rosalind Hannah Youngs

Surnames
The Youngs family, together with the Ethertons and the Whybrews, come from Essex as far back as my researches go, into the late 18th century. The Davises come from Dorset, via London and Kent. The Christophers are also from Dorset, having moved to Surrey seeking work. There they helped build the Great Eastern Railway before moving to Essex and building the Great Eastern Railway, upon which they subsequently worked. The Curtises and the Stollerys lived in Suffolk

To avoid confusion, females are referred to throughout by their maiden names. For reasons of privacy, no details of any living persons are shown.

Due to the ever-increasing amount of information becoming available, only a small number of people for whom I have information have individual pages. And for the same reason I may have additional information about those who do have individual pages. Use these pages only as a guide to the families I have on my files. A full list of people for whom I have information can be accessed from the Main Menu.

I am greatly indebted to David Nash, former Rector of Rivenhall and Rivenhall Historian, for much of the genealogical and anecdotal information concerning the Youngs and Whybrew families in Rivenhall.
