Suffolk Connections?

The strange second name of Henry Inget, presumably given to preserve a family name, is probably a corruption of Ingate. Practically all Ingates lived in East Anglia at the time, where there is just one with the spelling as Inget.

This was Thomas Inget, who married Ellen or Eleanor Hunter, daughter of William Hunter, in Wrentham, Suffolk, in 1774. In this same village a William John Boon was baptised in 1775.

On 26 April 1783 Hellen Ingate was born to Thomas Ingate and Hellen Hunter, daughter of William Hunter, in Plumstead, Kent. On 27 November 1785 Eleanor Ingate was born to Thomas and Eleanor Ingate in East Wickham, Kent. The Suffolk Hunters frequently used the forenames Ellen, Helen and Eleanor, and William Boon gave his firstborn the name Eleanor.

There is also this marriage in the parish register of Wrentham:

8 Dec 1772 John Bune single otp married Mary Hunter single otp. Witnesses Ellen Hunter & Lydia Vinyard.

On 3 November 1786 Thomas Ingate Boon was born in Woolwich, Kent, and was baptised in St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich 31 December 1786. His parents were John and Mary Boon.
