He married Helen (Bennett?)who was born in Havant, Hampshire in 1871. Henry and Helen emigrated to Canada, where the family lived at 49, Wilson Avenue, London, Ontario
Their children were:
Margaret H. b. 1892 in Nutfield, Surrey,
Reginald H. b. 9 July 1895 in Tatsfield, Surrey. Reginald joined the 4th Divisional Cyclists of the Canadian Expeditionary Force 30 November 1915 to serve in France. He gave his occupation as Book Keeper.

Bernard William b. 3 April 1897 in Croydon, Surrey. He joined 70th Overseas Battalion,  Canadian Expeditionary Force, 29 October 1915 as a Bugler, when he gave his occupation as Labourer. He was killed 20 September 1916 while serving with
5th Canadian Mounted Rifles (Quebec Regt.)

On 27 December 1915 Harold Gollop, b. 9 February 1895 in Croydon, Surrey, joined the 70th Overseas Battalion, Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force. He gave Helen Gollop as his next of kin and her address as 49 Wilson Avenue, London Ontario. His own address was 287 Horton St, London, Ont., and he was a mineral water maker. Did Henry and Helen adopt Harold Bennett?
