'68 Reissue

a) Front and rear views of a '68 Reissue. Note the large headstock. Thee is no skunk stripe as the '68 has a separate maple fretboard.  b) Two butterfly string-trees, kluson style tuners, large headstock, maple fingerboard on a maple neck.

Model nos. 027-9202 and 027 9222 (left-hand version) were based on the 1968 CBS model and featuring:
  1. Enlarged headstock.
  2. 21 fret maple neck with separate maple fretboard and no 'skunkstripe'.
  3. Truss rod adjuster at body end of neck
  4. Two 'butterfly' string guides.
  5. Vintage Kluson style tuners.
