It was difficult to decide which photos to post so here are just a few that appeal to us particularly. Read a bit more about this super holiday on our diary page.

A view of Boston from the ferry across The Charles River.	River Ride at Old Sturbridge Village - a fascinating museum of rural life.
The Inn at the Shaker Mill Farm where we stayed for a week.	Beaver at Pleasant Valley Ted managed to get really close.
We walked part of the Appalachian Trail going over Mount Greylock, summit shown left. This is the highest peak in the Berkshires. Here’s our group, with leader Malcolm in red on the right.

This is just across the road from our hotel in Acra. Fall foliage is now beginning to show.	We went up Hunter Mountain the easy way, but we did walk down.
Our last walking day was spent at North South Lakes
