We arranged to meet at 12pm and run an HF station from the view point near East Farndon as a bit of a trial run for next years anniversary of The Battle of Naseby when we plan to put on a Special Event Station.
Main HF Station
We set up a 133 foot long Carolina Windom which allows operation on 80m through to 6m with the help of the clubs ATU. The clubs Yaesu FT847 with matching ATU was also used.

80m QRP Station
Paul G1FJH brought along his MKARS-80 QRP transceiver and through up an "Inverted L" aerial. With just 5w Paul worked several stations in the UK.
