General Information

On 70cm we have a local internet gateway connected to the Echolink system. If you are located in the town of Mkt Harborough, worldwide contacts are possible using just a simple 70cm handheld radio.

User Information

G1IVG-L can be found on 430.0125MHz.
Use 77Hz CTCSS tone to access the link.
If your radio has a "Narrow FM" option use that otherwise your audio will sound distorted and clipped to other users on the internet.
Listen before making a call, the link may be in use.
Remember to leave a gap of a couple of seconds between over's to allow for the internet time delay.

DTMF Commands

DTMF CODE	DESCRIPTION
Node Number	Enter the 4 - 6 digit Node Number that you'd like to connect to.
#	Once connected, this will Disconnect the link.
*	Station info. Will not play if a station is already connected.
00	Random connection to Computer User, Link or Repeater
01	Random connection to Link or Repeater
02	Random connection to Conference system
06 Node Number	To check if target node is online
08	System Status (You'll either hear 'disconnected' or 'connected to ...')
09	Reconnect to the last connected link.

The following DTMF commands will connect you to one of the preset LINKS/REPEATERS/CONFERENCES or USERS. If you would like me to add a shortcut preset DTMF comand to the list below please let me know.

* 5 0 0 To connect to the *ENGLAND* conference.

* 5 0 1 To connect to the *USA* conference.

* 5 0 2 To connect to the *AUSSIE* conference.

* 5 0 3 To connect to the *CANADIAN* conference.

* 5 0 4 To connect to the *EA3SPAIN* conference.

* 5 0 5 To connect to the *IRELAND* conference.

* 5 0 6 To connect to the *DODROPIN* conference.

* 5 0 7 To connect to the *HAMSHACK* conference.

* 5 0 8 To connect to the *FREE-DX* conference.

* 5 0 9 To connect to the *TECHTALK* conference.

* 5 10 To connect to *AMSAT* conference.

* 5 11 To connect to the MB7IFR-L link in Leicester.
