Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society

DF Hunt

433.475MHz FM

Introduction

The DF Hunt will take place on Monday 20th July 2009.  We plan to meet at the Great Bowden Village Hall at 7pm and then split in to three teams, where equipment and maps will be shared between the teams so it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any.

Safety

To make the Fox Hunt safe and fun for all, the FOX will only transmit once all teams have reported via radio that they are in position. Then once in position the Fox will start his FOX Transmission on 433.475MHz.

This will allow you to drive to and between the various points safely with no requirement to take any risks by rushing from point to point. Operating of DF equipment will only be allowed out of the vehicle.
