If you come into Grimsby on the A180 you will go over two large roundabouts and eventually will see a sailing club on the left. This is NOT Humber Mouth. Follow the signs for Cleethorpes going the full length of Grimsby Road passing the football ground. On reaching the end of Grimsby road you will come to a roundabout with a fancy dress shop on the left. Bear left following the main road up the hill and follow signs for Cleethorpes Sea Front. Once you reach the sea front follow the coast line keeping the sea on your left. You will pass the Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, the Boating Lake and a theme park called Pleasure Island. Go straight across all roundabouts and you will eventually find yourself surrounded by caravans and then holiday chalets. Follow the road through the chalets bearing left where the road forks and you will eventually see Humber Mouth Yacht Club on the left. Park on the grass just inside the gate and then climb the steps on the outside of the building to reach the clubhouse on the first floor. |
