Happy Christmas and have a good New Year 2005

2004 was a significant milestone as Linda and John celebrated their pearl (30 years) wedding anniversary. As usual we holidayed in Andorra and Spain (Costa Calida this time).

Hayley (22) has seen the most change this year, graduating from Surrey University, and taking up her first teaching appointment at Shawfield Primary, about 2 miles from our home. She's loving it and Andy as well.

Linda continues to run her very successful Pre-school in the Mytchett Community Centre and as Akela of the 1st Ash Vale Cub Scout Pack. John continues to work for the Government. Sadly as a new school governor he participated in the closure of Blackdown Primary school owing to lack of children and a poor OFSTED inspection, and has now started as governor of The Grove Primary, Frimley. He has also become a Forum Member of the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health.

Tamsyn (24) is just about to leave her position with British Car Auctions. She joins Surrey County Council working for the senior management team in Adult and Community Care.
