Yarm TC 2008 Season

Diary Dates

Sunday 30 Mar Team/Match practice starts. 6:00 pm.
Monday 14 Apr Summer Club Nights start. 6:30 pm. Continuing each Mon & Wed.
Sunday 20 Apr Opening of summer season tournament. 2 pm. Pooled tea, £3 entry
Monday 21 Apr Senior Coaching starts. 7pm - 8pm (enter names on notice board - 8 required)
Sunday 27 Apr "Open Day for non-members” Juniors 12.00 -1.30pm Adults/students 2pm – 4pm
Families anytime between 12 – 4pm - Please tell friends.
Monday 30 Apr Senior Coaching starts 7pm for 1 hour (enter names on notice board). £3 per session.
April 30th, May 14th & 21st June 4th, 11th & 18th
Monday 05 May Sally Chambers Memorial Mixed Handicap - 10:30 am BBQ Lunch £5 (bring your own meat), enter names on board.
Wednesday 14May Wimbledon Ticket Draw 8 pm Buffet with free drink
Sunday 08 June Rosebowl Tournament 2 pm. Mixed American Handicap, pooled tea. Enter on sheet £2.50
Saturday 02 Aug Summer Handicap Tournament 2 pm. Pooled Tea. Enter on sheet, £3 entry fee.
May - Sept Men’s open singles Championships  
May - Sept Veterans Championships for Ladies 40 & over, and for Men 45 & over (go on, admit it !!!)
Saturday 06 Sep Club Finals Day 1 pm. For all adult & junior tournaments. Followed by BBQ & presentation.
If weather poor – Sun 7Sept. (MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FINALS DAY IF ENTERING)
Sunday 28Sep End of Summer Season Tournament 1:00 pm. Pooled tea; enter on sheet, £3 entry fee.

Shoe Tags

As before, we will be issuing tags to be threaded onto the laces of your shoes. These should be difficult to lose and will enable non-members to be more easily identified.

Please wear your tag at all times when playing, as failure to do so may result in a request to stop. Lost tags will be replaced at a small charge.

 

Interested in Squash ?

The Yarm Tennis and Squash Clubs have formed a co-operation to enable adult players interested in both these racquet sports to join the two clubs for a reduction in fees.

A reduction of £30 on the usual adult fee is available when a member of one club joins the other. Please contact the membership secretary if you have an interest in this.
