Ok Alan, as I said in my earlier email that the drainage work will not reach
into your outfield playing area so should not disrupt any matches being
played, it was just if the contractors would be working on that weekend
their will be some noise.

On another note, could you email me details on the number of teams you run
from Ovington, to include all senior and junior teams.

Cheers

Gary

Hi Alan, sorry it's been a while since we last made contact. The schedule
for the Little Knavesmire drainage work will provisionally start, week
commencing Monday 2nd May, the work will not reach into your outfield areas
so should not disrupt your playing season, however it may help to arrange
matches away from home on the weekend of the 7th and 8th May if possible.

Let me know if you would like to meet to discuss things further.

Kind regards

Gary

May18th with out warning, it begins.

The Council accept responsibility but we will have to play away for a couple of weeks. The next photos are of how it was left after the work was done.

Gary Limbart promised to get the contractors to return and repair the areas of concern. They did not.

The rut to the right is about 2inchs deep, this was how it was left. We brought the boundary in about 10 meters.

The visiting team complained and the ground was banned from the league. The council apologized and promised to put it right but the next stage of their plan was already taking place. As the next photos show.

The line just off centre is the touch line of the football pitch.
