Central Processing Unit (CPU)

200 Mhz (or faster) Pentium II recommended

The CPU is the heart of your computer. You need adequate horsepower to ensure that your computer will run fast enough to accomplish tasks at a satisfactory speed

Random Access Memory (RAM)

64 Megabytes (MB) or more

Microsoft Windows will run on as little as 8 MB of RAM, performance can be very slow. 64 MB is a practical minimum. Adding memory is one of the least expensive and most effective ways to speed up your system

Hard Disk

3 Gigabyte (GB) or larger recommended

Windows and the Microsoft Office suite together will need about 500 MB of disk space.

Operating System

Windows 95, 98 or 2000, Windows NT 4.0

Access will run well on either system.

Microsoft Office

Office 97 Professional Edition (or 2000)

Office Professional edition includes Microsoft Access, which is the application required to run your database.
