SUNDAY

As an extension of our shorter rides, it has been decided to offer a monthly Sunday ride.  These rides will be mainly on road on quiet lanes  with distances between 25 and 35 miles.  There will be a lunch stop, probably pub lunch,  wherever possible.  Riding will be at the usual club pace and we hope this will offer an opportunity for the more experienced to go a bit further.

28th September  -   The Peovers – meet at car park next to Wilmslow Leisure Centre at 1030 .  A repeat of the earlier ride when only five turned up.  Going out via Joddrell Bank to Goostrey then returning via Lower Peover and Ollerton – Distance about 30 miles

There will be no official ride in October because of other commitments

However Clare and Andy P have also been organising some unofficial rides for anyone wanting to go a bit further so please contact them for more information

9th November – Marton – Meet at Layby by the Deanwater Hotel, Woodford at 1030.  The ride will start with an undulating ride along the edge of the Alderley Edge ridge to Gawsworth then across to  flatter roads to Marton.  The return will be via Chelford and the lanes to Handforth.  Distance about 30 miles

Lifts to rides can often be arranged and the Club has a few bikes which can be borrowed for rides.

THURSDAY EVENING RIDES

The Thursday evening rides have now finished until May 2009 -  why not try one of the shorter Saturday rides.
