This year 22 of us took part in the Annual Manchester to Blackpool Charity ride over 62 miles.

Whilst it is not a race, Alec reached Blackpool first after 5 hours whilst at the other end of the scale Jim, Kate and Alison took it much more leisurely and arrived after 7 and a half hours.

The weather was fine with a mainly following wind except for the strong headwind towards Lytham windmill.

This year six brave souls, Andy P, Andy S, Peter,Graham, Gill and Dave S  even rode both ways clocking over 110 miles with Andy S covering the most miles with an incredible 147 miles from Marple Bridge and back.

The following photos were taken by Graham and mostly feature the 100 milers.  No captions have been added as I think the photos speak for themselves.
