What do we do?
All releases for sale here are copied individually on CD-Rs or DVD-Rs on a PC from the highest quality wave and MPEG file masters. Each disc is checked individually for playability.
Why CD-Rs and DVD-Rs?
We're not a big organisation, and we don't sell a lot of copies. Manufacturing a large run of CDs would be costly and many would go unsold. We can make just enough CD-Rs to satisfy demand. By not pressing runs of hundreds of CDs, we can keep expenses and our prices down.
Issues with CD-Rs?
CD-Rs should play without problems on a separate
or good quality midi system CD or DVD player in good repair.
Some players with inferior disc transports may
have problems reading CD-Rs, such as portable players or CD/clock
radios.
Please try on another player if possible before contacting me with any issues.
Other issues?
DVDs are region free, are not copy protected
and have been tested on several players for compatibility. However, because
DVD format standards are vague to say the least, it is possible that discs
may not play on some players.
Many of our CD releases (specifically those
with a catalogue prefix ABCD) exceed 74 minutes per disc. While this is not
uncommon nowadays, a few players will not directly access tracks beyond this
point. It is, however, still possible to play the disc in full from a point
earlier than 74 minutes.
