As you'll gather our Surname is very, very rare.  In fact there are only a few dozen recorded births with the surname in the whole world!

Before reaching too ripe an old age, I decided to trace the Origins of the rare McCumesty family surname - and have amassed quite a fair bit of research.   Rather than it sit in a dusty folder, it only makes sense to put this out 'on the web' for the up and coming generations to appreciate, and for the older ones to share their memories.

When I get around to it I'll be building this part of the site to share Genealogical research with other members of the family.   It needs your help though!
