All done now bar some fine tuning. (pun intended).
Am I pleased with the outcome? You bet!
Was it worth it? Financially it's a non starter - who knows
what its worth now, but if you cost in my time, it's a resounding
loss...but that wasn't the objective.
Course it was worth it!
Jobs still to do include:
- a final fret dressing - couple still a tad high
- clean up the fingerboard
- raise the pickups a bit, I think
- sort out a possible out of phase problem
- final polish
- keep looking for a tremelo arm (or make one)
A final word of thanks to Steve Russell for his numerous
emails, pictures, comments and ideas.
