Le Moulin d'Algers is our French holiday house and easily sleeps 5 adults in 3 bedrooms. It has a fully equiped kitchen and large lounge. The house might be 200 years old, made of stone with a red tiled roof, a former bergerie / olive mill and in spring and early summer is covered with wisteria. It is in the magnificent secluded countryside of the foothills of the Montagne Noire, yet close to historic Carcassonne, spectacular Cathar castles and the Mediterranean coast.

It is set in tranquil well wooded grounds of over 4.5 acres on both sides of a trout stream that is also suitable for bathing.
Habitable space over two floors of approx 100 sq. m. with third floor for storage / conversion.

The house is 5 miles north of La Liviniere on D12, between St Julien des Molieres & Fourneliers.
Nearest village is La Liviniere (15mins) with small supermarket, chemist, doctor & renowned wine.
Access - Carcassonne (Ryanair), Beziers & Narbonne are 50 mins, Perpignan and Toulouse 100 mins, Mediterranean 60 mins
