What the Sea Cadets call pulling,
most people call rowing!
Pulling takes place in dual-purpose,
four-man rowing boats that are also
used for basic dinghy sailing
training. It’s a great way for
Cadets to improve their fitness
while getting out on the water and
enjoying themselves. Unlike
canoeing, where Cadets are working
individually, manning a four-man
rowing boat requires teamwork,
particularly when it involves racing
and the competitive spirit kicks in!
