Over the years, the choir has given concerts in St. Mary's Church, St.
Neots, St. Mary's Church, Eaton Socon and the Priory Centre, St Neots, and has been privileged to work with many high quality soloists and orchestral players. Three concerts each year are given jointly with the St. Neots Sinfonia.
Directed since its inception by Reginald
Searle , the society has performed works by such composers as
Bach, Beethoven, Brahms through to Vaughan Williams and Vivaldi, as well as contemporary
pieces by Andrew Carter and John Rutter. In a more light-hearted vein, there have been
Gilbert and Sullivan and opera selections, and "Last Night of the
Proms". An annual family carol concert is given in St.Mary's Church, Eaton
Socon. |
