If you are trying to downgrade from 4.x to 3.1x I have found you need to use the beta version 0.6 first. Otherwise the process will fail

Please note: These versions of firmware are for GDB3 users ONLY, attempting to use this version of firmware in a GDB2 or any other box will result in the box becoming inoperable.
Some people have used this software to update other Vestel boxes (especially the Lodos box from Sainsburys) but this is entirely at their own risk. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Please note that the newer GDB3 with no RS232 WILL NOT work with the 3.x or 4.x version software. No attempts must be made to try and update from 1.8 to 3.x or 4.x as the box will no longer work.
1.8 is the latest version for the GDB3 with no RS232 port, also it will not work on the older versions of the GDB3 hence why it has not been made available for download.
