NINJA 1976 to 1991
Ninja our first dog was a West Highland White Terrier. He is shown here in the long grass on the Isle of Benbecula in the Scottish Outer Hebrides where he spent two years of his life. It was here he was at his best chasing and occasionally catching the many rabbits on the island. He was a fit tough little dog who would stand up to anything on one occasion he even tried to chase a full grown stag.
SPROCKET 1985 to 2000
Sprocket our third dog was a English Springer Spaniel. Sprocket was a big heavy dog with a sweet nature. For the first three years he was never still. He made up for it later in life when he became a couch potato. When the sofa went for renovation he pined the whole time it was away and took possession as soon as it returned.
TINKER 1980 to 1996
Tinker our Second dog was a Border Collie who was born on the Isle of Benbecula where we lived in 1980. Tinker was the most obedient and gentle dog we have had and is the only dog we have had that would give you his paw on command. He loved to swim and was always reluctant to get out of the water. One of his favourite tricks was to use the slide in the local children's playground.
SHERMAN 1991 to 2007
Sherman our fourth dog was a Jack Russell. Sherman was a small tough dog with attitude.
