Stuart was born on the 15/08/1972 in St Austall he received a B Eng (Hons) Nuclear Eng Manchester university and worked as a Reactor Physicist at Bradwell Power Station Essex. Now a Consultant Nuclear Engineer. living in Somerset. His interests include Sailing, Motor biking, Travel and Skiing. He was  married on the 10/07/1999 to Nicole Anne Renwick at Great Baddow Essex. Nicole was born 06/02/1972 at Nocton Hall Lincolnshire. She received a  B Eng (Hons) Mech Eng Manchester University and is a Consultant Automotive Engineer.

The have one child Ellie Charlotte Jelliss born 06/11/2002 Southmead Hospital Bristol.
