I have written a Guide on how to
Convert a DVD to a AVI (Div-X) that will play on your
Archos AV3*0 unit. It will take 2hours and 20 minutes to
get a DVD converted. (I took just under that on my PC).
But it will depend on what system you have & how
long the DVD is. I 1hr 3min DVD will take about 2hrs
15min as a guide...
You will need 2 Programs &
the Div-X
5 Codec to Convert a DVD.
I used DVD Shrink (FREE) to get
the Movie only from the DVD to your PC & then MPEG
4 Direct Maker to make a AVI out of the DVD Files.
