Jean with Kylie and sons and daughters. Our dogs are our pets, friends and companions. We do not keep them for anything we can get out of them other than the pleasure they bring to us. We do not exploit them by breeding and breeding, we enjoy showing but are not fanatical about it, and we have never parted with any dog we have elected to keep. We truly believe that "A Dog is for life", unfortunately not a sentiment shared or practised by every breeder, exhibitor or so-called dog lover, which is a pity because the dogs deserve better. They give one hundred per cent commitment to us and we should respect that by reciprocating.

The only problem we have with owning dogs is that they don't live long enough but we are truly grateful for the wonderful times we experience with them.
