Hello, this is Scatty Squirrel again.Last month the humans were rather cross, just because I was saving my nuts in holes in the 'lawn'
They are good to me and I didn't want to upset them so I was trying to think of some good new places to put more nuts.
The trees in this garden are too small to have holes for nuts so I scratched my head and then I had a bright idea.The humans had some nice containers by the house, filled with soft earth.
That's IT, I thought. I can leave the 'lawn' alone and just use the containers to store the nuts in.
So there I was, happily digging away, making holes and putting the nuts in very carefully.
There were quite a lot of bulbs in there, but the daffodil bulbs are poisonous so I dumped them over the side.
OH DEAR!! OH DEAR!! OH DEAR!!
Father human was cross again, apparently those bulbs are supposed to grow and flower next year in the Spring.At least I think that is what he said.
