Hi, this is Scatty to tell you about the latest battle with the human Family over the peanuts.

As you know, I am very partial to peanuts and there is usually a supply of them in the garden.

The human Family and I have had a few battles over the last year, which you have read about on this web site.

The latest bird feeder is made out of strong metal, with a solid bottom and top.

It is really quite smart and the Family have fastened it onto the tree with some strong cord. (I wonder why!)

I must admit it did take me a week to work this one out, but I have solved it now.

You have to get onto the feeder and tip it sideways using your weight.

Then you ease the lid up and rattle the feeder to move the nuts to the edge.

Then you can reach in and get some nuts.

Success

The Family are quite amused with my manoeuvres and have even taken pictures of me.



I think that I have earned these, don't you?
