Semolina Squirrel Hello, I am Semolina Squirrel and I am visiting Sam this month since the weather is so nice.

The human Family have put out peanuts "for the birds" but I can tell you that the birds don't get all of them !


Scissors This month we thought you can try and make some fancy paper chains, but you will need a pair of scissors and some paper.

Check with an adult that it is OK for you to use them.


Pencils You fold the paper in half, and then fold it in half again. This will give you four shapes.

Then you draw an outline shape on the top of the folded paper but make sure that it goes right to the edge of the paper.

Like we have done here.

Cutting paper Then you cut round the picture taking care not to cut where the tail, toes and cheek are against the sides.

You will have to colour each one in when you unfold the paper. And this is what you get.     Have fun.
