Exhibitions
Again, the key to success is to be seen, thus
to show your
work. I personally like to exhibit my work when I feel ready to
do
so, eg. when I have enough pictures that I am happy with, or
when I have achieved a project in a particular field.
In the year 2001, the whole thing
got a bit out of hand, as I had
7 exhibitions, from January till December. My work was displayed
at The Bird in Hand, Gallery 96, The Open Studios, Gallerias,
CB2
and Cazimir in Cambridge, and the Babylon Gallery in Ely. The
Open Studios being the most successful event of all. In 2002,
I
had an exhibition at Cazimir, Polish cafe in King Street,
Cambridge, I also did the Open Studios again, and had an
exhibition at the Corn Exchange in August.
I also had some exhibitions in the
south of France when I was
still living there, between 1997 & 1998.

The Open Studios 2002 (July
6&7 and 13&14), I had 400 visitors to my exhibition,
which can be deemed a success.

The Open Studios is an event
gathering more than 250 artists every July in & around
Cambridge. The original idea is that every artist opens
his or her house or studio to the public.
For my first year (2001), I had 300 visitors to my exhibition, and most of them seemed interested by my work. |
