Questioning Climate.

"Correlation is NOT Causation"

For quite some while now I have been interested in the Anthropogenic Global Warming (now "Climate Change") debate.  No, it is not over, particularly for those people who have the integrity to do a little studying rather than relying upon what politicians and mainstream media say, particularly in the UK.

On this website analyses, questions and opinions are aired in the hope that it might inspire others to reassess the science and policies associated with Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW).

Bring science back out of the political arena and return it to solid facts-based truth!

Latest News and Additions:

3/1/2011  GHCN Analysis.  This builds upon 'The Influence of Station Numbers on Temperature' work.  Two large warming biases were found in the raw average records of GHCN, along with a possible solar linkage.  Note:  This document is an early draft and contains some of my notes, and no doubt plenty of grammatical and other issues, however, the basic content is the important aspect.  Available as pdf here.

3/1/2011  NEWS: The Influence of Station Numbers on Temperature analysis has been published (revised form) in ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT, VOLUME 21 No. 8 2010 as:

THE INFLUENCE OF STATION NUMBERS ON TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

25/6/2009  An update has been presented regarding my paper "A Simple Method to Correct Carbon Dioxide Concentrations in Ice Core Data for Ice / Gas Age Difference Perturbations."

24/6/2009  I have realised that when the site is viewed on low resolution monitors not all the menu to the side is accessible.  To overcome this, please use the link to the Site Map and navigate from there.

22/6/2009  Has the Sun been turned down?  This is a relatively non-technical piece regarding solar activity.

20/6/2009  Having finally migrated to a new PC, or rather partially migrated, I have finally managed to get enough software running to make some additions here.  An Arctic sea ice extent analysis has been added.  This was a guest post on Jeff Id's blog some weeks ago.  The Links page has been amended, and a few other items tweaked.

7/2/2009   Another prediction was added.  This is actually a link to the new UN IPCC page where a crystal ball is used to predict effective carbon dioxide climate forcing in the year 2100.

4/2/2009  Various changes were made, the main items being update to MLO versus Global CO2, MLO data changes, Station Numbers and Temperature supplemental analysis, and Arctic Sea Ice

23/11/2008  The Influence of Station Numbers on Temperature was updated.  There is now an appendix where comparisons are made to satellite records.

17/11/2008  Some while ago I was inspired by an article by Ross McKitrick regarding station numbers and temperature.  I did a little work and wrote a short article.  In my usual way, I put it to one side and didn't publish it.  Having just been reminded about it, I have placed it under the new title of Station Numbers.

29/10/2008  Having run into numerous discussions regarding the Cumulative process and its effect, I decided it was a good idea to demonstrate what it does through a few examples.  Hence, the Cumulative Examples page was born.

9/10/2008  I have added a page named "In Progress" which is pretty much what it says.  It is a selection from my notes, data analysis, graphs etc. from various aspects of my climate studies.  This is by no means all; it is just some that I feel needs sharing at this particular time.

16/9/2008  Facts related to the Vostok ice-core corrections included on link page.  "Power to the People" added.  This is a response to the UK Conservative Party's energy policy.

17/5/2008  Added "Vostok Ice Core" and my paper, entitled "A Simple Method to Correct Carbon Dioxide Concentrations in Ice Core Data for Ice / Gas Age Difference Perturbations."  It ultimately suggests that CO2 ice-core data used as evidence of AGW is compromised.

10/5/2008  "Biofuels vs Food" was added.

29/1/2007  I have made a few predictions and recorded them here.  They are not exactly profound, nor necessarily unique, but I feel they are worth recording.  Afterall, if they are not recorded then how can you be sure that they were predicted?
