TheOctavian Singers, established in 1987, has gained a justified reputation for achieving high musical standards. The group performs a wide variety of music from Baroque to 20th Century, madrigals to major choral works. New recruits are always welcome! The Octavians are based in Woking and rehearse every week on a Tuesday night.

The Musical Director:
Laura Brown has been Musical Director ofthe group since 1996. She was organ scholar at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and studied choral conducting at the university of Illinois before moving to Surrey with her husband. She makes her living as a vocal coach.
